Johnson Square in Savannah, Georgia is a great place for photographers to visit because of its unique blend of history and architecture. The square, which was first established in 1733, is the second oldest in the city and features a picturesque fountain, a central gazebo, and numerous oak trees draped with Spanish moss.
The square’s historical buildings, many of which date back to the 18th and 19th centuries, provide a stunning backdrop for photographs, while the square’s central location in the heart of Savannah makes it easy to access from other popular photography spots in the city. Additionally, the square’s location in the historic district also makes it a good spot to capture shots that reflect the culture and heritage of Savannah.
I love the scene this park presents. With the right external flash, you can really capture some amazing portraits at this location. I will definitely schedule some portraits next time I am out there.
