Strawberry Fields in Central Park New York is a must-visit destination for photographers and fans of music history. The memorial dedicated to the late Beatle John Lennon features a 2.5-acre landscaped section of the park with a mosaic of the word “Imagine” at its center, and it is surrounded by gardens and walkways, which can provide great backgrounds for portrait and nature photography. The mosaic is a powerful and iconic image that has become one of the most photographed features in Central Park.

Additionally, the surrounding area is home to several sculptures and statues, gardens, and bridges that make great subjects for photography. Strawberry Fields was created in 1985 as a dedication to John Lennon, who lived in the nearby Dakota Apartments and was killed outside the building in 1980. It’s a beautiful and peaceful spot within the busy Central Park.
