Lance Long is an entrepreneur and media industry leader who was born and raised in the United States. After graduating from Southern Connecticut State University, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin his career in the media industry.

In The Early Days...
I fell in love with Photography and Atlanta at the same time. When i first arrived back in Atlanta in 2011, I immediately began photo walking the city.
On my journey, I have travelled all over through the forest in the city. Capturing hidden gems as well as the beauty laying right in plain sight. Take Pics Here has been with me from the start. I have always documenting the locations I visited and often revisit when scouting for upcoming photo shoots.
The Birth of Take Pics Here...
It was not until 2018 when I started to get really serious about created the Take Pics Here Location Finder. I knew this would not only help me with scouting, it would also lead me on another photography journey. I first started to organize all of the current locations that I have visted over the years. This gave me a great baseline to work off. Once I had an idea of what I needed to add, I grabbed my camera went photo walking. Over 1000 Locations later, I am still on my quest but more the wise now. In 2022, Take Pics Here became official and is now offering Photo Walk Tours that help photographers of all levels explore awesome locations while networking with friends. This is in addition to the Photo Location Finder which is an awesome tool for traveling photographers.
