Atlanta Botanical Gardens traces its roots back to 1976 when the Atlanta Botanical Garden Inc. was formed. Initially located in Piedmont Park, the gardens moved to their current location in Midtown in 1980. Over the years, the gardens have expanded and evolved, becoming a beloved cultural institution and a haven for plant enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
Today, Atlanta Botanical Gardens encompasses 30 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, including themed displays such as the Fuqua Orchid Center, the Cascades Garden, and the Japanese Garden.
