Jane’s Carousel in Brooklyn Bridge Park, New York City is a great destination for photographers looking for a mix of history, art and architecture. The carousel is an elegant and beautiful 1922 vintage carousel, which is housed in a contemporary glass pavilion designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel.

The carousel and its surrounding area provides a unique and interesting backdrop for photographs, with the combination of the antique and modern architecture, the reflections on the glass pavilion and the movement of the horses creates an dynamic and captivating scene that can be captured by photographers.

The carousel also offers a great view of the Manhattan skyline and the East River, which can provide additional opportunities for landscape and cityscape photography. Jane’s Carousel is a popular spot among visitors and locals alike, it was restored and moved to Brooklyn Bridge Park in 2011, it’s named after the daughter of the current owner, Jane Walentas.
