The Channel Gardens, located in between Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue in New York City, is a beautiful and historic spot that offers great opportunities for photographers. The gardens feature a variety of flowers and foliage, as well as sculptures, fountains, and architectural elements that provide a wide range of subjects to photograph.
Visitors can capture the beauty of the gardens throughout the year, and especially during the winter when it transforms into an ice skating rink and during the holiday season when it’s decorated with Christmas lights. The Channel Gardens is also a great spot to take pictures of the surrounding Rockefeller Center, which is an iconic New York City landmark and home to many famous buildings and attractions. The gardens were designed by landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. in 1933, and is part of the Rockefeller Center complex.
