Morgan Falls Overlook Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia is one of my favorite spots for a photo walk. Between the river views, forest trails, and architectural features, it offers a wide variety of photo opportunities.

Panoramic River Views
The park sits atop a bluff overlooking the Chattahoochee River, providing expansive views that change with the light. When I walk through the overlooks, I focus on how the scenery interacts with the frame and try different angles to capture depth.

Trails and Forested Areas
The walking trails through the park’s forested areas offer a lot of interesting compositions. I look for natural leading lines, textures, and layers in the trees and foliage, which can add depth and variety to shots.

Composition Tips
Pay attention to light, shadows, and perspective. I like to move around, try different heights, and see how the river views, trails, and trees interact in my frame. Shooting during golden hour or just after rain can also enhance colors and atmosphere.
